You must check out at the end of every session on your Lively app to submit your timesheet. At Lively, our practice is that you start concluding your session 5 minutes before the end and use this time to submit your timesheet and write your session notes.
Your timesheet entry must reflect the amount of time you have booked in for the session. Your booked time is what you have agreed beforehand for the session and have been guided by the budget provided for the series of sessions, whether it is a 1:1 session with the Member or a group session. You should not include time spent staying on with the member on a personal basis (e.g. for a cup of tea).
Lively pays Helpers and charges Members (and Partners) based on time logs rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Your bookings and timesheets must be rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Coordinators arrange time budgets for you that work with these time fractions and you should refer to them if you have any queries.
Please ensure that the Start Date/Time, End Date/Time and Member/Group are correctly entered when you check-out. There is more info on the Logging Your Time page about how to do this.
It is essential that you submit your timesheets on time, at the conclusion of your session. Timely and accurate timesheets are very important for a number of reasons:
Your earnings are based on timesheets that you submit. We want you to be paid the right amount and it is also our obligation to!
We invoice members and partners based on timesheets information. We need to invoice the right amount to avoid any upset members and partners, but it is also important that we can invoice in a timely manner, so that Lively has income to contribute to the running of our organisation and further development of our programs.
Coordinators may receive questions about previous sessions from partners, case managers and family members who have referred a member. Being able to see when sessions have happened means they can assure the contact that everything is going smoothly!
Lively Accounts can run payroll semi-automatically and at a low cost each fortnight, with no delays in payment.
The timeliness of your timesheets will be considered throughout your feedback conversations with your Lively support person. If we repeatedly have problems with late or missing timesheets, we will have to refrain from matching you with new members until we see improvements.
