In some circumstances, you may be requested to transport members (e.g. to help them attend a local shop to purchase a new device). This will be discussed with you on a case-by-case basis.
Note that you should never transport members without prior consent from Lively.
Note that you are NOT permitted to be a passenger in your member's car or to drive their car. Lively Helpers are only able to be passengers on trusted rideshare providers such as Uber or Taxi, and on public transport.
In instances where it is agreed that you will transport a member in your own vehicle you agree to follow the code described below.
Getting to appointments
Leisure and personal development activities
Shopping
Visiting post office or bank
Dropping off/picking up dry cleaning
Before you can transport members, you must get approved for training. You can request approval via your Helper app by navigating to your user profile, and scrolling down to the 'Transport' section.
There are a few steps you'll need to complete:
Read the policies below and complete the Transport Training module, which is linked in the app. You can also access it here.
Complete the assessment questionnaire, which is linked in the app. You can also access it here.
