Helper—June 2023–August 2025

I worked alongside older people to provide social connection and support to stay active and engaged while living independently at home. I also helped facilitate group workshops and 1:1 digital literacy support to older community members at libraries and community centres.

Key achievements

• Cultivated warm and trusting relationships with 12 older people and empowered them to thrive independently at home.

• Educated 60 older people to grow their confidence exploring the digital world through 1:1 support and group workshop facilitation.

• Achieved high levels of client satisfaction through a tailored, person-centred approach, that included supporting one older person to record her life story for the benefit of her family and friends, and another to transform her garden for her wellbeing.

• Documented client progress meticulously, with regular thanks from management for my exceptional care notes and personal organisation.
