An end of life process is the way in which a member chooses to plan their end of life as well as what takes place after their passing. It is important that those nearing their end of life have conversations about how they would like their passing to occur and what they would like to happen afterwards.
If your member is nearing this stage, they may want to talk with you about this process and how they are feeling on their journey. We encourage Helpers to be aware that these conversations are difficult, if these conversations bring up challenging feelings for you as a Helper, Lively has an Employee Assistance Program there to assist you. You are also able to utilise the Support Team if you're finding these conversations difficult.
