As part of Lively's infection control plan, we require Helpers to complete an additional online module to ensure you are comfortable implementing STANDARD and TRANSMISSION-BASED infection control protocols. Read on for all the details!
Follow the link below to access the online modules provided by the National Hand Hygiene Initiative, and click 'Register new profile'.
If you have previously completed learning modules through this learning platform and may already have the appropriate certificate (see below), please log in using your previous details, and change your organisation to 'Lively Community Ltd'. If you're not sure how to do this, email the Helper Coordinator.
2. Enter your preferred email login, and search for 'Lively Community Ltd' as your host organisation.
3. Enter your personal details and create a secure password. You do not need to provide an AHPRA, Employee Number or Student Number.
4. Log into your learner portal using these details, and complete the following module: Basics of Infection Control and Prevention for Aged Care. This should take you 1– 2 hours. Note that some sections of this training are relevant specifically to residential aged care, but you will need to complete them in any case.
5. Once complete, you can view your certificate of completion from your learner portal. Lively's organisation administrator will also be able to see that you have completed it.
6. You may log 1 hour in your schedule for this training immediately after another of your Lively sessions between 6am–8pm Monday–Friday—this is to ensure we meet your minimum 2-hour shift entitlement. Please select 'Lively' as the member, and enter "Infection Control Training" in your check-out notes.
